The Ins and Outs of Hiring a Certified Arborist
The Ins and Outs of Hiring a Certified Arborist
If you’re a homeowner or property manager in Centennial, Littleton, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, or the surrounding areas, and you have trees on your property, then you’ve probably wondered about the best way to take care of them. This is where we, at Mortensen Tree Service, Inc., come in. We’re not just a tree service company. We’re a team of certified arborists.
So, what does it mean to be a certified arborist? It’s a special title that requires passing extensive exams. It means the arborist has a deep understanding of trees – how they grow, how they should be cared for, and how they react to different environmental factors. It’s not just about cutting down trees or pruning branches. It’s about providing complete tree care.
We’ve completed rigorous training and have years of hands-on experience. We know trees inside and out. We can identify tree species just by looking at them. We know how different trees respond to Colorado’s climate and soil conditions. We can spot signs of disease or decay, and we can recommend the best treatment.
The expertise of a certified arborist also extends to tree removal and trimming. We can identify when a tree needs to be removed or trimmed for safety reasons. We have the skills and equipment to do this efficiently and safely, minimizing the risk to your property.
Plant health services are another key part of our work. We understand the importance of soil quality, proper watering, and appropriate tree nutrition. We can advise on these issues to help your trees thrive.
Choosing tree service in Centennial CO for your trees needs isn’t just a smart choice—it’s an investment. It’s an investment in the health and longevity of your trees. It’s an investment in the safety and aesthetic appeal of your property. It’s an investment in professional service backed by extensive knowledge and experience.
At Mortensen Tree Service, Inc., we pride ourselves on delivering top-quality tree services. We combine our technical know-how with a deep appreciation for the beauty and importance of trees in our environment. We believe that professional tree care shouldn’t just be about maintaining trees but should also focus on improving the spaces where people live, work, and play.
Choosing us at: https://mortensentree.com means choosing certified arborists who are dedicated, knowledgeable, and experienced. So the next time you look out at your yard and wonder how to best care for your trees, remember us. Remember the value of hiring a certified arborist.

InvisalignEARLY TREATMENT
Sometimes it is advantageous for children between ages 7-10 to undergo an early treatment of orthodontics. This is commonly known as a Phase I treatment. Indications for a Phase I treatment include anterior and/or posterior crossbites, extreme crowding, excessive overbite, and jaw disharmony. Another reason for starting an early treatment is to build self-confidence in a child who is very conscious about his or her smile. Phase I treatment usually lasts about 12 months. You must understand that accepting an early treatment does not eliminate a Phase II treatment. Phase I usually helps prepare for Phase II by eliminating the need for extractions at a future treatment.
ADULT TREATMENT
Many adults are having orthodontic treatment to give them a brighter smile. About 25% of most practices are composed of adult treatment. This ranges from simple alignments with clear aligners to more complex treatments involving orthognathic surgery. Please don’t be alarmed; just because you have stopped growing does not mean that you are doomed to have extractions or will require having your jaw repositioned.
Most adults do not require extractions and with some cooperation using rubber bands can correct most problems. Adults of all ages are having treatment; you are never too old to consider improving your smile.
